The Network Security program is designed to prepare students for careers in
computer and network security and to deal with the challenging computer and
network security problems facing society. The graduate will have a basic
understanding of computer hardware, software, programming concepts and network
administration with a primary emphasis on network security. The Graduate will
be able to implement the fundamental security measures necessary in the modern
business environment, perform the basic functions of a PC/Network Support
Technician and install/configure the necessary hardware and software to support a
local area network infrastructure.
